Hello, my name is Teresa Sheeley. I received my Master’s in Elementary Education over 10 years ago. My experience is teaching Kindergarten, 1st and 3rd grade. I have also had experience as an elementary art teacher. I teach STEAM to K-2 students in a small rural town at a Title 1 school. My goal is to become an Instructional Coach. Rationale:
Being an evaluator takes integrity, fairness, and ethical manner as relating to roles within the school.
My dessertation on Mr. Smith’s case study represents how a principal looks at the whole teacher, meaning the students, classroom management, and the class itself. A principal should uphold all standards that relate to integrity, fairness and all things ethical to give a fair observational feedback.

ELCC 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 3.2 Rationale:
Part of being an instructional coach is to create and implement quality instruction programs that teachers are able to take back into their classrooms. In this study, I designed a presentation showing teachers several ways to differentiate their instruction. Stakeholders in this study were provided with evidential facts on how important personal, intentional instruction is for students to grow by giving them work that fits their needs.

Our school has a mission and vision to improve reading and math scores. My professional development session was designed to keep in alignment with the visions of my school’s improvement plan. I wanted to present a professional development that gave teachers a plan to make personal lesson plans for their students. There is a plethora of students with different needs. Having tools to help target those needs during instruction could help improve reading and math scores. Individualizing learning for students is a good mindset to have when working with students on so many different levels.
